After attending my first Wild at Heart bootcamp in Colorado with John Eldredge and his team, In 2018, I found out that they had a number of allies across the country sanctioned to do boot camps . Through their listing I found Freedom 14 and contacted Mike to come for a visit and then attended one of his camps. No doubt this was a divine appointment and our friendship has grown deeply. Mike and Tawnya have dedicated themselves to a labor of love in building their camps. They are prayer warriors and will be praying over you and your families even before they meet you. Whatever challenges that get in your way of getting to this camp, I promise will be more than worth it to overcome. You will look back at this camp as being one of the best defining moments of your life. There is a Divine appointment awaiting you at Freedom 14 Camp. The Father will be here waiting for you.

I met Mike Hogan back in 2007 when I was 47 years old and first finding Christ. What a wonderful time in my life. After six or seven years that were the best of my life even though in those years I went bankrupt, almost lost my marriage, I became angry and cynical again. Hogan once again entered my life, I sought him out and the fire started burning again but it never got to where it once was, not his fault as I tend to run when things get difficult. I was on a very low burn until my recent trip to Cape Fair, Mo. I have been to Mr. Eldridge’s camps before and he is legendary which is a story of its own. This past camp put me back to where I was when I first met Christ with John being a huge part of that and the difference is that I now have the possibility of helping others more than I thought was possible. Hogan passes on John’s message like I believe would make his heart grow to capacity. If you ever need a spiritual awakening that is beyond comprehension, Wild at Heart is the ticket. I have met yet another man who has been impacted by the same message I have been impacted by. And his brothers have become my brothers in my local area. The counseling shared in Wild at Heart is communicated well and my brothers in Christ are coming back with new clarity into the story of their lives. Freedom 14 Camp is creative, exciting, rugged, and peaceful! The tools given to men are ones that they can use for the next 10 years to become more settled and deep men of character and truth. Fears are dealt with on this camp. God our Father is introduced to men as he truly is. I look forward to years of ministry with Freedom 14 Camp and it's brothers for a lifetime.

Mike and his staff have a great camp facility and will treat you with royalty. Clean facilities, great food and Texas hospitality. From the moment you step on this property you can feel the difference in the atmosphere. The presence of Jesus is palpable. This camp is nestled in the Hill Country of Texas. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The cabins are tastefully adorned. Better yet are Mike and his family and staff. You are made to feel not only welcomed, but a priority from the very first moment you arrive. I must confess I have not been to many camps, but I give F-14 a FANTASTIC thumbs up!

From the moment I stepped onto this property I knew it had purpose. The testimony of Mike and Tawnya alone will give you chills, the sacrifices they have given and now the beautiful result. Lots of hard work has gone into this property and it is ready to be used to fulfill its purpose. To touch lives, like it has already touched mine and my family. We really got to unplug from the fast pace of the city and be present with other men at Freedom14 Camp. Men were able to make significant relational connections, learn from the teaching and then take contemplative walks in the beauty of the camp grounds.

And the "experience" whoa.....awesome! Very Creative! Where do I start? How this place was birthed and the testimony of Mike & Tawnya is enough to stir my heart! Freedom 14 is a REFUGE and a place of true freedom in Yourself through Jesus Christ.
It's a new way of life and new way of thinking. The heart-felt love and devotion in this place is amazing! Mike and his family have such a heart to help others and are truly being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Not only is Michael Hogan my oldest childhood friend, he is a man of God who is with me in my foxhole day in and day out! I wondered for 40 years of my life until one day during the lowest point of my life Michael gave me “Wild At Heart” to read. To be able to hear and feel the message that the Lord has given to me through John’s book I truly know what my purpose in this life is. Life is tough, but knowing God is right here with me through all of it makes absolutely everything in life meaningful! My first bootcamp at Freedom 14 was one of the most moving times in my life. Tawnya said to me that the Lord had told her to tell me to just “be still”, talk about a paradigm shift! I walk everyday of my life with the Lord now and I can tell you that my heart and life are on fire like never before. I can’t wait to get back to camp again this fall, hopefully with other men I know who need this experience and the discovery of what God has planned for them!

When Founder Mike Hogan walked into my office on a Friday morning after being impacted by his first Band of Brothers meeting, I knew God was going to radically change his life. Little did I know that after Mike's first Boot Camp would he be lit on fire to impact the lives of Men in our community. Mike and his wife have given everything to make Freedom 14 a reality. To be able to go and experience a Wild at Heart boot camp is a blessing in itself, but the chance to be a part of a boot camp like the one at F14 camp is a total honor. Great people, rustic cabins, beautiful Texas hill country views and the chance to change men's hearts forever is something that is indescribable. What a heavenly experience! If you haven't been here before for one of these retreats, you need to come and see what God has in store for you! Life changing!
